PURPOSE OF THE NOTICE
Univar is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices. Each country has different privacy laws and requirements; some, such as the United States, may provide less legal protection for personal information (PI), while others provide greater legal protection. This Notice is intended to inform you of the purposes for which Univar collects and uses PI, the steps Univar takes to ensure the integrity and security of such data, the options and means Univar offers you to limit the use and disclosure of your PI, and how to contact Univar regarding your PI. PI refers to all information about or relating to an identified or identifiable employee of your company.
HOW UNIVAR COLLECTS PERSONAL INFORMATION
Where permitted by law, Univar collects PI directly from your company, its subsidiaries and affiliates, or from third parties such as insurance agents, vendors, and government agencies.

PURPOSE OF COLLECTING AND USING PERSONAL INFORMATION
Univar collects PI to support the establishment, execution, continuation, or termination of your relationship with Univar. Univar will only collect, use, or process sensitive PI if permitted or required by law, or if you provide your consent. Univar considers the voluntary provision of such information a form of consent and will only use the information in the context in which you voluntarily provided it.
If permitted by law, we will process your IP to conduct and support everyday business operations, such as promotions, marketing, sales, negotiations, obtaining goods and services, maintaining contact with you, fulfilling our contractual and legal obligations, and protecting your company, you, your employees, and the public against injury, theft, legal liability, fraud, or abuse.
FUTURE TRANSFER
Univar is a global organization with global processes and practices; our servers, databases, and service providers are located in the United States and other countries. If permitted by law, Univar may transmit IP to its subsidiaries and affiliates and to third parties, such as, but not limited to, service providers, external parties, law enforcement and government authorities, or Univar's successors if Univar sells or transfers all or a portion of its business assets. In each of these circumstances, Univar will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any transfer is conducted in compliance with applicable laws and in a secure manner, is necessary to perform the requested services, and is executed in accordance with this Notice.
DATA INTEGRITY AND DATA SECURITY
Univar will take all reasonable steps to protect your IP, keep your IP reliable for its intended use, correct, current and complete, and in an identifiable form only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
YOUR CHOICE OF PREFERENCES
Univar will notify you and obtain your consent before using your PI in a manner inconsistent with the purposes described in this Notice, the purposes stated at the time of collection, or subsequently authorized purposes.
