DOWFROST 50% inhibited propylene glycol (PG) is comprised of about 96% PG and 4% corrosion inhibitors, then is diluted with reverse-osmosis water by 50%. All ingredients are food safe, that is to say they are classified as GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by FDA. DOWFROST 50% is the product of choice for the food processing industry. It is undyed and has water white appearance. DOWFROST 50% offers effective heat transfer from -28 °F to 250 °F.
