Description

DOWFROST™ LC 25% is an inhibited propylene glycol-based thermal fluid specially formulated for use in cooling systems for data communications equipment or DECS loops. DOWFROST™ LC 25% is a pre-diluted solution of propylene glycol in water with proprietary anti-corrosion inhibitors to maximize heat transfer and cooling control.

DOWFROST™ LC 25% heat transfer fluid provides freeze protection for the system circuit down to -14°F (-10°C) and exhibits incredible metal corrosion protection even for components with high copper surface area.

DOWFROST™ LC 25% is manufactured from virgin Dow PuraGuard™ USP grade propylene glycol, resulting in a consistent, high-quality fluid that resists foaming, premature degradation, and malodors of inferior glycol fluids.

Uses

DOWFROST™ LC 25% Inhibited Propylene Glycol can be successfully used in a wide range of equipment and facilities, including but not limited to:

Direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems
Liquid-based Data Communication Equipment Cooling System (DECS)
Glycol-cooled computer room air conditioning units (CRAC units)
Glycol circuit heat exchangers and pumped coolant
Closed-circuit or rack-mounted cooling
Monobloc or row cooling
